The XM-X9999 Crossbone Gundam Maoh was a custom Gunpla built by Mao Yasaka. It was based on the XM-X1 Crossbone Gundam X-1 from the 1994-97 manga series Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam, but it also featured elements from Mao’s previous GX-9999 Gundam X Maoh. The Core Fighter used in the original suit was removed, and the chest instead mounted a skull satellite cannon inspired by the Gundam X Maoh. The Gunpla also used the Gundam X Maoh’s same reflector mirror units on its X-shaped backpack for propulsion. After the end of the 7th Gunpla Battle World Championship, Mao joined his friends in trying to stop the out of control Arista crystal that was causing real world damage in the PPSE stadium. Mao later returned to Gundam X for inspiration in building his next Gunpla, the GX-999910 Gundam X Jumaoh.
