The xvm-mzc Zeydalus was a close combat mobile suit that departed in some ways from standard Vagan mobile suit design. The Zeydalus lacked the usual palm-mounted vulcan beam guns/sabers, instead featuring Shiguru claws – based on Earth Federation Forces technology leaked by Vagan sympathizers. The Zeydalus’ tail also mounted a Shiguru blade, while its chest featured a more standard diffuse beam cannon. One Zeydalus unit was used by Medel Zant in AG 142 during a Vagan uprising on Earth. While Medel managed to score multiple kills, he was defeated by Asemu Asuno’s AGE-2 Gundam AGE-2 Normal.
