The xvt-zgc Ghirarga was a high performance X-Rounder mobile suit designed for Zeheart Galette, similar to his earlier xvm-zgc Zeydra. The Ghirarga was armed with the standard Vagan beam vulcan guns/sabers, along with a beam buster, a melee-use tail and a handheld spear. Since the Ghirarga participated in the AG 164 invasion of Earth, it was capable of unassisted atmospheric flight. When the war’s focus shifted back to space, the Ghirarga was upgraded through the addition of X-Transmitter antennas across its body. These X-Transmitters allowed Zeheart to activate Mode X and make use of multiple remote controlled bits for all-range attacks. Due to the high level of Zeheart’s X-Rounder abilities, he was required to wear a helmet to restrict them and prevent the Ghirarga from overloading. After the Ghirarga was heavily damaged at the Luna Base, Zeheart switched to the newer xvm-fzc Gundam Legilis. The repaired (and repainted) xvt-rlc Ghirarga Custom was reassigned to Zeheart’s subordinate, Leil Light.
