Designated the eighth unit of the Tsentr Project, the Cerberus Ignite was the upgraded form of the YTA-06BW Cerberus. It was powered by a much more stable and powerful version of the Terminus engine which created a barrier called the TE sphere. Equipped with the Ignite parts, the Cerberus Ignite had two forms called Form G and Form S. Hugo Medio was the main pilot of Form G, which specialized in melee combat. In this form, its armaments consisted of homing missiles, a coating sword TeX, an ignite pike, the Terminus cannon, and the Kerberos fang. Aqua Centolm was the main pilot of Form S, which specialized in long-range combat. In this form, its armaments consisted of a coating sword, a radical railgun, the Terminus smasher and the Kerberaid buster. Both Forms were armed with remote controlled ray gun pods. The Ignite parts also functioned as an unmanned support unit.

Hugo and Aqua returned to the battlefield with their new machine and continued to fight alongside Londo Bell while searching for the upgraded YµP-05 Medius Locus. After the defeat of AI1 All-In-1, the Tsentr Project was cancelled and the Cerberus Ignite was sealed away.
