The YMS-15E Gyan EOS was a customized version of the YMS-15 Gyan that was assigned to protect Kycilia Zabi. Two units were modified by Kycilia’s Mobile Assault Force with assistance from Zimmad Company, developer of the Gyan, and Zeonic Company, developer of the MS-14B Gelgoog High Mobility Type. Due to this, the Gyan EOS was equipped with an MS-14B backpack. The Gyan EOS’ armaments included a beam bayonet, a giant bazooka and a custom shield. Unlike the original Gyan, the EOS’ shield did not have any built-in weapons and was strengthened with new armor materials for better defense in melee combat. The Gyan EOS was reevaluated for mass production, but in the end was rejected again. In UC 0090, a surviving unit was used by former Zeon pilot Uma Lightning.
