The YMS-15SS Gyan Vulcan was a custom Gunpla built by Susumu Sazaki. It was based on the YMS-15 Gyan from the 1979 anime TV series Mobile Suit Gundam. The Gunpla featured a customized backpack that mounted a pair of 3-barrel Gatling guns. It was also armed with a pair of beam sabers and missile shields. The Gyan Vulcan’s backpack, shoulder armor and missile shields could combine to form a support unit known as the Valuable Pod. Sazaki used the Gyan Vulcan in battle against Ricardo Fellini’s XXXG-01Wfr Gundam Fenice Rinascita, but he was quickly defeated. Years later, Sazaki’s obsession with the Gyan was inherited by his younger sister Kaoruko, who also used Gyan-inspired suits in Gunpla Battle.

"Zaku"
Some Fan Art I made back in 2018 of my favorite Mobile Suit from Gundam. Still love the one-eyed design, stands out and still looks great. I've also included some process. #gundam #zaku #mobilesuit
