The YMS-18 Prototype Kämpfer was a heavy assault mobile suit developed by the Principality of Zeon during the One Year War in UC 0079. Compared to the later production model MS-18E Kämpfer, the prototype version featured a different antenna design, different shoulder armor and additional rear skirt armor. Its armaments included head-mounted autocannons, a machine gun, a shotgun and two giant bazookas. In UC 0085, a custom colored blue unit was used by Zeon remnants working as space pirates.
