Axis continues on its course to crash into Granada, and the Argama lands on the asteroid base in an attempt to change its course. Bright, Quattro and Saegusa discuss various options to deal with Axis, including nuclear force or wiping it out with Gryps 2. Saegusa notes that the Minovsky interference would prevent them from communicating with Gryps 2, but they might have a chance if they can use the communications facilities on Axis. Bright wants Torres to work on that, and Saegusa adds they can also carry out the other plan with the explosives. Kamille walks in to ask what they’ve decided, and Bright reminds Kamille that he needs to rest. Kamille blames himself for Axis potentially falling on Granada because he wasn’t able to kill Haman, but Quattro counters that Axis would be falling even if Haman was dead. Quattro thinks that Kamille did well in damaging the Qubeley, but Kamille counters that mobile suits can be repaired. Bright asks Kamille when he became such a pessimist, and Kamille answers since he had enough of it. Bright tells Kamille to get some rest and let them worry about Axis. After he leaves, Quattro comments that Kamille seems to be changing for the better. Kamille isn’t paying attention as he moves through a corridor with the hand grip and ends up crashing into Fa. She puts her head against his chest and asks if things will go back to how they were once the war ends, but he answers that they won’t because he has a better understanding of his duty. Elsewhere, Rosamia prepares to launch in the new Psycho Gundam Mk-II, accompanied by Gates in his Baund-Doc. On the Dogosse Giar, Bask orders Yazan to remain on standby for launch, and he’s informed by Loren that Rosamia has calmed down now that she’s convinced Gates is her brother. Gates tells Rosamia that when she goes to Axis she’ll find the Argama and the Zeta Gundam, the enemy she must destroy. Torres’ team, which includes Fa and Anna, heads into Axis’ abandoned residential district to find the communications facility. Fa and Anna split off into their own group and feel the vibrations from the explosives that the Argama is using to attempt a course change. Kamille lays in bed attempting to rest and has a Newtype reaction when he senses Rosamia’s approach. Rosamia opens fire on Axis to draw out the Argama and hits the residential district. Gates attempts to contact Rosamia but is unable to due to the Minovsky interference. Bask is informed that a team of friendlies is approaching but not communicating with them, so he orders Yazan’s team to launch. Reccoa’s Palace-Athene leads a team of Hi-Zacks and Marasais, so Bask orders Loren to send Gates into battle. Loren objects because Gates’ absence would destabilize Rosamia, but Bask doesn’t care. Kamille suits up and hears Rosamia’s voice go stronger as she gets closer. Just as the bridge crew detect the Psycho Gundam Mk-II, Kamille launches in the Zeta Gundam. Kamille wonders if the voice is Four’s but realizes it isn’t. Rosamia opens fire and he realizes that she’s the pilot. Kamille dodges her attacks and slices into a control panel in a tunnel leading into Axis, causing Rosamia’s foot to get caught on a closing hatch. Rosamia has trouble attempting to move inside the cramped space, and Kamille exits his cockpit.Â
Rosamia exits her cockpit and shoots at Kamille with her pistol, but he dodges and shoots her helmet. He then dashes toward her and grabs on, and she recognizes him as her brother. He thinks that he hears Four’s voice as they drift deeper into Axis. They get tossed around by air escaping through a breech, and Rosamia enters the residential district alone. She doesn’t understand what happened and feels pain in her head. She walks through the empty streets and pulls her gun on Fa, who calls her Rosammy. Fa tries to remind Rosamia who she is, and Kamille briefly sees Four instead of Rosamia. Inside the store, Rosamia fires at Fa and feels pain when Kamille approaches. Fa says that she feels sorry for Rosamia being a Cyber Newtype who is only trained to fight wars. She asks what good it does and says the same is true for Newtypes, which she sees as the cause of the war. Fa doesn’t think that Rosamia would understand since she never grew up with a family, and Rosamia replies that she had parents and an older brother. Fa tells Rosamia that her memories are fake, and Kamille tries to remind her of the time they spent on the boat. She proclaims that Kamille is not her brother and she’s not Rosammy. She feels more pain and runs away, and Kamille sees Four again. Kamille tells Fa to rejoin the others and runs off to chase Rosamia. Gates grapples onto the Palace-Athene, but he’s distracted by Rosamia’s voice, which lets Reccoa break free. Kamille returns to the tunnel and gets back into his cockpit as Rosamia gets back into hers. She uses one of her beam cannons to blast her leg free and head back into space. Rosamia cries and calls out for her brother, firing blindly in all directions. Kamille hears Four and Sarah’s voices and wonders why. The rampaging Psycho Gundam Mk-II approaches the Argama and damages it with her sustained volley of beam attacks. Kamille tells Rosamia to stop and grapples onto the Psycho Gundam Mk-II from behind. He wants her to become Rosammy again, but she breaks free and attacks the Argama again. Kamille targets Rosamia directly and says that he feels terrible doing this, but he has to hit her directly. Four’s voice tells him to hurry, and he fires directly through the Psycho Gundam Mk-II’s head, killing Rosamia. Gates feels a reaction from Rosamia’s death, which causes his Baund-Doc to stop moving. Basks asks what’s going on, and Loren explains that he thinks something happened to Rosamia. Reccoa fires several shots at the Dogosse Giar before blowing up the bridge and killing Bask. With no ship to return to, Yazan’s Hambrabi retreats. The AEUG fires Gryps 2 at Axis, which changes its course and prevents it from crashing into Granada. Fa thinks she was too harsh with Rosamia because it wasn’t her fault, but Kamille doesn’t think she said anything wrong. He reminds her that she said Newtypes and Cyber Newtypes can’t make a difference, and he wonders if all they can do is kill others. Fa leaves distraught, and Quattro tells Kamille not to worry about it. Kamille answers that he’s not worried about it, because if he was, he couldn’t live with himself being a Newtype. With Axis moving away, the Argama departs from lunar orbit.
With Axis bound for a drop on Granada, the Argama launches a risky plan to change its course. Rosamia returns after being absent for a bit, but now she’s even more of a mess than she was before. She’s been brainwashed into thinking that Gates is her brother to improve her effectiveness, but she still has flashes of thinking that Kamille is her brother. Rosamia’s entire tragic situation demonstrates one of the many depravities of the Titans – they’ll go as far as utterly destroying a human’s mind just for the sake of turning them into a weapon. Kamille tried his best to stop Rosamia and bring back Rosammy, but she was too far gone and had to be put down. Gates gets taken out by Rosamia’s death, but his fate is rather unclear since he’s never seen again. Perhaps he was brain damaged and left adrift until his oxygen ran out, which would be a pretty bad fate. At the same time, Reccoa leads a team to take down Bask, although oddly we never see Yazan’s team fighting at all. Bask gets exactly what he deserves, and with his death, the Titans are now fully under Scirocco’s control.
