Technical and Historical Notes

Designed exclusively for atmospheric combat, the ZM-A05G Recarl mobile armor was quite powerful, equipped with two generators from ZM-S08G Zolo mobile suits powering a large mega particle cannon. Although its main cannon made the Recarl highly effective as a long-range artillery strike unit, it also mounted a pair of short-range beam cannons for combat in closer quarters. With its high speed and agility in the air, the Recarl was more than capable of holding its own against mobile suits. Although it was unknown how many Recarls the Zanscare Empire built, at least one unit was in the inventory of Earth-based Yellow Jacket commander Fuala Griffon, who often played field commander and backseat driver in her Recarl with lackey Metchet Rubence at the controls. Fuala’s Recarl was destroyed in battle at Arti Gibraltar, taking the life of pilot Metchet.
