The ZMT-S06G Zolo-Rotor was an experimental mobile suit based on the ZM-S06G Zollidia. It was manufactured to test the beam rotor, a technology developed in UC 0150 by the Zanscare Empire that generated beam blades and created lift in a similar manner to a helicopter. The beam rotor allowed a mobile suit to achieve atmospheric flight without using propellent, but it also doubled as a defensive/offensive weapon. The Zolo-Rotor’s armaments included vulcan guns, beam sabers and a beam rifle. Beam rotor technology was later implemented in several mass production Zanscare suits, including the ZM-S08G Zolo and ZM-S09G Tomliat.
