In order to supplement the psycommu fortress known as Angel Halo, the Zanscare Empire developed a special mobile suit called the ZMT-S35S Rig-Ring. Equipped with a copy of the ring psycommu system, the Rig-Ring was intended to resonate Angel Halo’s powerful psychowaves and spread them all across the planet. The ring psycommu system was actually powerful enough to allow the Rig-Ring to broadcast its own psychowaves, but only in a localized area. The Rig-Ring was equipped with a pair of shot claws like those on the ZM-S14S Contio, as well as a diffuse beam cannon, giving it overall high combat efficiency. The Rig-Ring was originally intended to be developed in parallel with Angel Halo, but sudden changes in the state of the war caused the mobile suit’s development to be discontinued.
