Zone of the Enders: Dolores, i is a TV series that aired in Japan in 2001. Produced by Sunrise, it is a sequel to the OVA Zone of the Enders: 2167 Idolo and a side story to the PlayStation 2 game Zone of the Enders. Directed by Tetsuya Watanabe, the rest of the series’ staff returns from Idolo. Set in 2172, the series takes place prior to and concurrently with the first game. The story focuses on James Links, a middle-aged trucker who encounters the orbital frame Dolores and is pulled into the middle of the conflict between the UNSF and BAHRAM. The series was released on home video in North America by ADV Films, but is now out of print.
