AMAIM: Warrior at the Borderline is a TV series that aired in Japan and internationally from 2021-2022. Directed by Nobuyoshi Habara, the story is written by Noboru Kimura. Mecha designers include Yuya Koyanagi of Ken Okuyama Design, plus Gundam veterans Kanetake Ebikawa, Ippei Gyoubu and Kenji Teraoka. Set in the late 21st century, AMAIM takes place in a Japan that has been occupied and divided up by the world’s four major power blocs. Civilian teenager Amou Shiiba gets involved in the conflict and joins the resistance group Yatagarasu as pilot of the advanced mecha Kenbu. The series is available on North America via streaming or home video from Crunchyroll.
