Layzner

Blue Comet SPT Layzner is a TV series created by Sunrise. It aired as a contemporary to another Sunrise “real robot” series, Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, but was canceled well ahead of its intended episode count. An OVA epilogue later revised the series’ ending, and although it has never received any sequels, its characters and mecha have appeared in multiple Super Robot Wars games.
