RahXephon – MAHQ

RahXephon is an anime series that aired in Japan in 2002. Produced by Bones, its production team includes director Yutaka Izubuchi, mechanical designer Yoshinori Sayama, character designer Akihiro Yamada and composer Ichiko Hashimoto. The story focuses on Ayato Kamina, a young man who ends up piloting the RahXephon robot when Tokyo is attacked by a mysterious force. The TV series was followed by a compilation movie and a short OVA that was packaged with a Japan-exclusive PlayStation 2 video game. The TV series and movie were released on home video in North America by ADV Films, but is now out of print.
