Star Driver

Star Driver: Takuto of the Radiance is a TV series that aired in Japan from 2010-2011. Produced by Bones, its staff includes director Takuya Igarashi, writer Yoji Enokido, mechanical designer Shigeto Koyama and composers Satoru Kousaki and monaca. The series focuses on Takuto Tsunashi, a boy who washes up on Southern Cross Island and begins attending the local academy. Takuto, also known as the Galactic Pretty Boy, can summon the “Cybody” mecha Tauburn to battle the mysterious Glittering Crux Brigade that is deeply involved in the school. The TV series was followed in 2013 by a compilation movie. Bandai Entertainment released the series on home video in North America, but that version is out of print. The movie has not been released in North America.
