Princesses Euphemia and Cornelia Li Britannia prepare for the opening ceremony of the Clovis Land amusement park. Cornelia is worried that the swimsuit Euphemia wants her to wear is too revealing, but Euphemia says that it’s the safest out of the swimsuits that their deceased brother Clovis designed. Outside the door, Andreas Darlton says that he can’t wait to see the swimsuit and thinks his son would be envious if he heard about it. Gilbert G.P. Guilford says it’s commendable that Darlton raised an orphaned boy into one of the Glaston Knights, but he thinks it’s imprudent to say such a thing. He also adds that although they’re supposed to be bodyguards, it looks far too obvious that Darlton is hiding a gun in his trunks. Over by the pool, Suzaku wonders if it’s ok to be so relaxed when they’re supposed to be on guard duty. Cecile says it’s ok because no one is expecting Cornelia as a surprise guest. Nothing is going to happen that would require the Lancelot, which is why Lloyd didn’t come. Suzaku thinks it’s a shame Lloyd couldn’t come and compliments Cecile on her swimsuit. Embarrassed, Cecile tells him not to make fun of adults, and he says that wasn’t his intention. Suzaku is then surprised to see Lelouch and the rest of the student council. He asks why they’re there, and Milly explains that her family probably got invitations because of their former prestige. Nunnally tells Suzaku that she wanted to come because she heard Clovis designed the pool, and being in the water makes her feel free. She asks Suzaku to swim with her, but he tells her he can’t because he’s on duty. He then privately tells Lelouch that he and Nunnally should keep their distance. Just then, Cornelia takes to the stage to announce the opening of the pool. Shirley points out to Milly that Lelouch is staring intently at Cornelia, and Milly says it’s natural for a student to look at someone with a body as great as Cornelia’s. Nunnally says she wants to be as great as Cornelia, and Milly tells her she’ll have to be taught things by men. Nunnally then asks Lelouch to teach her things, which shocks Shirley. Lelouch agrees and says he won’t be easy on her. Milly jokes that this must be dangerous sibling love.
This picture drama is set in the Clovis Land amusement park, which shows up in episode 15 when Lelouch faces off against Mao. Here, we learn that when Clovis wasn’t committing genocide or painting, he designed pools and perverted, dominatrix-looking swimsuits. The thought of Cornelia in one of those swimsuits isn’t lost on Darlton, who’s packing heat of a different sort in his Speedo. There’s also an interesting tidbit about him raising an orphaned boy who is now a Glaston Knight. Suzaku and Cecile join in the fanservice fun, as does the student council. Of course, Lelouch is staring at Cornelia out of hatred, but it’s misunderstood as sexual attraction. That of course leads to more of Milly’s teasing about sibling love between Lelouch and Nunnally.
