Shou shoots at the Zwarth, but the shot is deflected by some kind of barrier. The Billbine and Zwarth continue their fight. In the Land of Water, Jacoba proclaims that all Aura Machines will be purged from Byston Well. Aboard the Graon, Elle tells Abe to prepare their forces. She feels a dark shadow coming. Todd continues fighting, and destroys one of Na’s Aura Ships. Bel Al aboard the Guran Galan says how pretty the sky is. El Fino yells at her. The E Ferario finish their chant. A strange power surrounds everyone, the Zelana, Will Wipps, Spriggan, Zwarth, Billbine, etc… are all affected. Aboard the Gea Gring, Louser tells Bishot how impressed she is with the ship. She and Riml are about to get off but the strange power effects the Gea Gring too. All Aura Battlers, Aura Ships and Aura Battleships start vanishing. Shou senses that Jacoba is behind what is happening just before he disappear too. Her power all used up, an aged Jacoba dies. Todd appears in front of his house on Upper Earth. He heads inside and looks for his mother. He tells her about Byston Well but she doesn’t believe him. The police arrive and Todd heads back towards his Aura Battler. He tells the cops its a secret weapon of the military. The police remember what happened in Japan and pull out their guns, thinking Todd is an alien. He takes off. Jerryl and her Leprechaun appear in a crowded city street in Dublin.

Jerryl sees people she knows, but they run away from her, scared. Policemen arrive so she takes off. In Dallas, Marvel’s parents sit on the porch, thinking about her. She and the Dunbine suddenly appear in front of them. Marvel gets out of the Dunbine and hugs her mother. Her father pulls out a gun, wanting proof its really her. She tells them to listen to her story. Shou and Chum aboard the Billbine appear near his house, like they did before. Shou decides to head out to sea in order to not create trouble again. At her house, Marvel watches TV with her parents and sees a news report on the Aura Battlers returning to Upper Earth. She tells her parents she’s going to go and meet up with her allies. Chum spies on people watching TV and tells Shou that other Aura Battlers have shown up on Upper Earth. Shou realizes Jacoba sent all Aura Machines to Upper Earth and worries about what will happen. His radar senses something, so he heads out. The incoming object is revealed to be the Zwarth and he immediately attacks. Shou doesn’t want to fight considering what happened to Garalia. The Black Knight says it’s good fortune that Shou was the first person he met up with on Upper Earth. Shou tries to warn the Black Knight that their power is different on Upper Earth, but he won’t listen. Both Aura Battlers damage each other. Suddenly fighter planes arrive and attack the both of them. Shou decides to withdraw while the Black Knight attacks them. The Black Knight launches another attack on the Billbine, but Shou is able to avoid it and severely damages the Zwarth, which crashes into the ocean below. Shou heads to shore to rest. He and Chum look at the sunrise, which Chum finds scary.

Commentary

The writers throw us another big twist in this episode by sending everyone to Upper Earth. Although she appeared to have made a pact with Shou just two episodes earlier, it looks like Jacoba couldn’t wait that long and sacrificed her life to send everyone to Upper Earth. Whether the rest of the E Ferario died or not wasn’t really made clear, so I wonder if anyone will be able to return to Byston Well. Considering all those who would want to summon someone from Upper Earth aren’t around on Byston Well anymore though, it doesn’t look like that will happen. I’m somewhat disappointed that they sent everyone to Earth at this point. Everything was getting really exciting on Byston Well and right in the middle of that we immediately turn things on their head by changing the setting to Upper Earth. Will the new setting succeed? Who knows. If this happened while the Zelana was hiding in the bay for all that time I might have been happier with this plot twist, but at this point I kinda wish it hadn’t happened. Oh well, as long as the writing quality stays good there won’t be a need to complain.
