The new arrival, Aska from Fahren, declares herself as the new princess. Eagle recognizes the dragon ship as the Dome and gets back in his FTO. He takes off and the girls board their Rune-Gods as well. Aska is glad to finally arrive on Cephiro after a long journey and thinks victory is hers. Her servant Sang Yung doesn’t understand her logic. Aska is confident she is invincible but her elderly advisor Chang Ang alerts her to the approach of Eagle and the Knights. Sang Yung identifies the FTO as being from Autozam, and Chang Ang scolds Aska for not studying their neighboring countries. Aska’s attention is drawn to the Rune-Gods and Chang Ang suggests they might be Cephiro’s guardians of legend. Aska thinks they’re cool and is even more determined to become the Pillar so they can be hers. Aska suddenly wonders why Autozam is there and Chang Ang supposes it’s for the same reason as them. Aska refuses to let anyone else be the Pillar and uses a technique to bring a drawing of a monster to life. The monster appears before the Knights and Eagle identifies it as a Fahren illusion technique. He thinks the Knights might have some trouble with it.
Hikaru has a hunch the monster isn’t alive. Chang Ang scolds Aska for using such a high level illusion but she tells him to be quiet. She orders the monster to attack and the girls draw their swords. The monster spits out fireballs and Hikaru realizes the monster is made out of magic. It tackles Rayearth and Hikaru manages to slice it. Aska has the monster grow bigger and the Knights keep avoiding its attacks. A fireball accidentally hits the Dome and the monster disappears. Aska throws a fit but Sang Yung convinces her to retreat. After the Dome leaves Eagle thanks the girls for the combat data and leaves as well. The Knights reflect on how dangerous the situation is this time, but resolve to fight regardless. They promise to stay together, but Hikaru has another vision of Nova. Nova says she’ll grant Hikaru’s wish for them to stay together by killing them all. Back at the castle, Clef concludes that a member of the Fahren royal family is on the Dome since only they can use such high level illusion spells. Primera suddenly notices that Lantis is missing. Elsewhere, Lantis thinks of his brother and Emeraude and vows not to let tragedy repeat by ending the legend of the Magic Knights.
A new faction bursts onto the scene in the form of the extremely childish Aska. Her goal is to become the Pillar so she’ll be a princess despite being a princess already. I offer my sympathies to her two cohorts for having to put up with her selfishness. She can bring drawings to life, and while the monster does give the Knights a little trouble the fight was mostly just the Knights dodging. The Knights resolve to fight for the 95th time, but at least they are facing a continually changing situation. Not only do they have to deal with the outside forces, but Nova has now made it clear she doesn’t want to be friends and Lantis is still acting suspiciously.
