In the last six years of the Hundred Years War, no name was feared more than the Gilgamesh Confederation’s elite Red Shoulder Battalion. Nicknamed the “Bloodsucker Battalion,” these specially-trained soldiers were infamous for their savagery on the battlefield – no distinction was made between enemy, civilian and even ally. Although the Red Shoulders were disbanded after the war, most of its former members remained as pilots in the service of Red Shoulder founder Yoran Pailsen. To defend the remote compound used by Pailsen and the Secret Society, the former Red Shoulders used the experimental armored trooper X-ATH-P-RSC Blood Sucker. Painted with a distinctive red shoulder, the Blood Sucker was armed with the standard arm punch, smoke dischargers and a bloody rifle. The Blood Suckers provided heavy resistance during an assault by Chirico Cuvie and three other former Red Shoulders, but ultimately all units were destroyed. One unit was also used by Perfect Soldier Ypsilon during his first battle experience.
