Technical and Historical Notes

The AMF-101Q/4 DINN-R was a mass production unpiloted mobile suit used by the Kingdom of Foundation in C.E. 75. Foundation purchased old AMF-101 DINN units from ZAFT to supplement its mobile suit forces. The “R” in the suit’s name was for “Remote” as the units featured new heads and chest parts to allow for remote operation. The DINN-R and the ZGMF-1017Q GINN-R were commonly used as escorts for Foundation’s Black Knight Squad.
