The versatile design of the Gilgamesh Confederation’s ATM-09-ST Scopedog led to the creation of many variants, including the waterproofed ATM-09-WR Marshydog. Designed for underwater combat, the Marshydog’s body was modified and equipped with an air barge that inflated and allowed temporary underwater submersion. In addition, the Marshydog was equipped with hydrojets for underwater movement and oxygen tanks to support the pilot. Because of its underwater customizations, the Marshydog’s speed was lower than the standard Scopedog, and it was armed only with the standard arm punch and a compact heavy machine gun/grenade launcher. The Marshydog was used by the Assemble EX-10 mercenaries fighting against the Veela guerillas in Melkia’s Kummen jungle region. With its extensive network of rivers, the Kummen jungle was the ideal environment for the Marshydog, and it was the unit of choice for Chirico Cuvie during his stint with Assemble EX-10.
