Dunbine Ep. 39: Bishot’s Hostage

The Will Wipps floats in the air above Washington, D.C. In the White House, a soldier demands ammunitions and supplies from the president and his top advisors or they will destroy Washington. Shou and Marvel talk about this latest development to Ceila, who wants to help free Europe first. The Zelana lands aboard the Guran Galan. Shou and Chum tell Marvel she doesn’t look well. An announcement of incoming soldiers comes over the intercom and they head out. Todd leads a fleet of Aura Battlers and Aura Bombs towards the Guran Galan. Marvel and Todd fight while the Billbine is bombarded by Tungys. The Guran Galan sends out a number of Bozunes, many of which are quickly destroyed. Todd’s Vierres grabs onto the Dunbine and shakes it hard enough to knock Marvel unconscious. Todd and his unit fly away with Marvel and the Dunbine held captive. Aboard the Gea Gring, Zet tells the Black Knight about what happened. Todd arrives with the Dunbine. The Black Knight watches as Marvel is taken out of the Dunbine and is brought up to Bishot. Todd tells Bishot about Drake’s status in America. Louser tells Bishot they should use this opportunity to destroy both the Graon and the Guran Galan. The Graon rendezvous with the Guran Galan and Ceila and Elle meet. Both of them try to accept blame for Marvel being taken hostage. Elle volunteers to take Marvel’s place but Shou says he’ll do it instead. A soldier arrives with a message from Bishot showing Marvel held captive. Ceila, feeling bad heads to the Graon. Aboard the Graon Elle decides to give up the ship in order to save Marvel.

Ceila arrives on the Graon and says she’ll make it look like they’re surrendering in an attempt to destroy the Gea Gring. She says there are instances where they have to sacrifice friends to crush evil. Everyone’s depressed about letting Marvel die but go along with Ceila’s decision. Both the Graon and Guran Galan head towards the Gea Gring. Marvel, realizing this is upset. Ceila sends a message to Bishot telling them they are surrendering. Marvel is sent out on a Tungy, tied up. Bishot says they won’t actually release Marvel until he’s sure they are surrendering. The Guran Galan lands and the soldiers start exiting. Likewise, soldiers start leaving the Graon as well. Drumlos and Virunvees fly towards the two Aura Battleships and start destroying the Bozunes and other Aura Battlers on the deck. One of the soldiers fires at the Billbine, which doesn’t move, causing Louser and Bishot to think that they’ve actually surrendered. Elle and the others are upset after seeing this happen. Bishot tells Elle and Ceila to surrender personally and head over to the Gea Gring. The Graon and Guran Galan reveal their true intentions and start attacking. The real Billbine, which was hiding on the bridge of the Guran Galan, heads out. The Gea Gring starts sending out more Aura Battlers, including Todd on his Vierres. Shou heads into the Gea Gring itself to deal damage to it. He heads back out, looking for Marvel and is attacked by Todd. The two of them continue their battle inside the dock of the ship. Keen arrives and attacks Todd, allowing Shou to continue looking through the Gea Gring until he finds the Dunbine. He hears Elle’s voice, telling him Marvel is near. Suddenly the Black Knight comes out with Marvel tied up. He says he dislikes Bishot’s tactics and unties her, allowing them to escape. The news is relayed to Elle and Ceila. Bishot orders his troops to withdraw. Ceila asks Marvel to forgive them. She and Elle say they’ll take care of supplies so they can rest. Thinking of Drake in America, Shou and Marvel look at the night sky.
