The original EMA-07 Nautilus was an early Jupiter Empire mobile armor, designed around the simple concept of one large generator powering one large beam cannon. Already a dated model at the time of the Jovian War, Jovian Newtype instructor Professor Karas decided to use one and made a number of personal modifications, including the addition of high-oscillation wires. These weapons were highly effective in space combat thanks to their taking advantage of the Law of Inertia, but required a skilled hand in order to use them properly.
