One of many F90 Gundam F90 optional armament variations developed by the Earth Federation Forces’ SNRI during the UC 0110s and 0120s, the F90C Gundam F90 C-Type (Coldness) was designed for combat in snow regions. It featured foldable skit units attached to the leg hardpoints. These skis allowed for improved maneuverability in areas with heavy snowfall, and the sole could be folded for walking in areas where it was difficult to glide. Additionally, the C-Type was equipped with heating units on the shoulders, lower back and ski unit to prevent the armor joints from freezing. A mantle could also be equipped on the shoulders to cover the upper body and efficiently distribute heat. The C-Type featured no additional armaments over the default weapons of the Gundam F90. In UC 0122, Bergh Scred used the C-Type in combat in a cold region against the Oldsmobile Army.
