One of many F90 Gundam F90 optional armament variations developed by the Earth Federation Forces’ SNRI during the UC 0110s and 0120s, the F90F Gundam F90 F-Type (Fight) was designed for melee combat. The F-Type incorporated additional thrust deflection paddles that improved mobility and allowed for rapid turnaround. Its main armament was a pair of am combat equipment that were mounted over the hands in use. The arm combat equipment could generate needle-like beams capable of piercing enemy armor. A flexible mount latch on the waist allowed the F-Type to wield its beam saber even when the close combat equipment was in use. In UC 0112, test pilot Patsy Angelika proved the abilities of the F-Type by defeating the F89 Gundam F89 in mock combat.
