One of many F90 Gundam F90 optional armament variations developed by the Earth Federation Forces’ SNRI during the UC 0110s and 0120s, the F90Q Gundam F90 Q-Type (Quick) was designed for improved mobility and agility. This type added vernier/apogee motors to the legs, waist and shoulders, plus a thruster binder on the backpack. It was possible to add more binders by mounting them on hardpoints; thrusters that were no longer needed could also be ejected and used as weapons. The Q-Type carried no additional armaments over the default loadout of the Gundam F90. The Q-Type equipment demonstrated excellent mobility during evaluation tests and contributed to the development of the F91 Gundam F91.
