Technical and Historical Notes

During the Bloody Valentine War, the Alliance created the GAT-X255 Forbidden Blue to combat ZAFT’s amphibious mobile suits. The GAT-706S Deep Forbidden was a refined, mass production version of the Forbidden Blue. The basic design remained unchanged, although the Deep Forbidden lacked the Trans-Phase armor and advanced sensor systems of the Forbidden Blue. The Deep Forbidden used the same “Geschmeidig Panzer” energy deflection system for underwater movement and pressure counteraction, but the unit was improved with reinforced titanium surrounding the cockpit. The Deep Forbidden was armed with a phonon maser cannon, torpedo launchers, shield-mounted combat spikes and a trident.
