The MS-08TX Efreet was a ground combat mobile suit developed by the Principality of Zeon’s Earth Attack Force. Only eight units were produced before the Zeon military determined that Zimmad’s MS-09 Dom was the superior ground combat mobile suit. The Efreet’s base armaments included a shotgun and heat saber, although some units featured additional weapons. A unit in the default configuration piloted by Henry Boone of the Wolf Gar team fought against the Earth Federation Forces’ RX-78XX Gundam Pixy. Other Efreet units were modified to create custom versions, including the EXAM-equipped MS-08TX Efreet Custom, the stealth MS-08TX/N Efreet Nacht, the sniper-use MS-08TX[NF] Efreet Jäger and the close combat MS-08TX/S Efreet Schneid. Some of these custom units were used by Zeon remnants after the end of the One Year War, with the Efreet Schneid being active as late as UC 0096.
