An experimental mobile suit intended to correct the mistakes made in the massively armored NRX-010 Gable, the New United Nations Earth’s NRX-011 Britova was designed to serve as a balance of speed and maneuverability with heavy armor and weaponry. One Britova prototype was assigned to Duett Langraph (known as the “Shadow” from the New U.N.E.’s Eastern Campaign), who customized this mobile suit by removing all of the original weapons except the large, shoulder-mounted micro-missile launcher pods. Langraph then installed a rocket-guided, heated monofilament wire cutter in the right forearm. With these two weapons, the dual personality Langraph could carry out his “evil” personality’s favorite tactic of luring an enemy in (or keeping them from getting away) with micro-missile barrages, and slicing up that enemy at close range. Shagia and Olba Frost promised a two-rank promotion to the mentally deranged Langraph if he could defeat the Vulture mobile suit GX-9901-DX Gundam Double X. In the battle that followed, Langraph delivered a heavy attack of missile hits and wire cuts against Garrod Ran’s Double X and Witz Sou’s GW-9800-B Gundam Airmaster Burst. When the two Gundam pilots figured out what sort of strange weapon the Britova was using, Witz provided a distraction while Garrod shot and destroyed the wire cutter’s guiding rocket motor. With the wire cutter rendered useless, and his two enemies too close to hit with missiles, Langraph found his Britova suddenly defenseless and was quickly destroyed.
