The OMAX-01 Granzam was a heavy assault mobile armor created in the early UC 0120s by the Zeon remnants known as the Oldsmobile Army. In contrast to their other units, which were modern recreations of old Principality of Zeon designs, the Granzam was a new design loosely inspired by the Principality’s MA-08 Big-Zam. The Granzam featured a Big-Zam style torso mounted on a large hover unit. The heavily armed mobile armor included a large mega particle cannon, as well as multiple mega particle cannons and anti-air missiles and machine guns. It was also equipped with a beam deflection barrier similar to the Big-Zam’s I-field generator.
