The RGZ-91B Re-GZ Custom was an improved version of the prototype RGZ-91 Re-GZ used by Londo Bell during the Second Neo Zeon War in UC 0093. Whereas the original Re-GZ transformed into waverider mode through the use of the attachable Back Weapon System (BWS), the Re-GZ Custom was capable of full transformation like its predecessor, the AEUG’s MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam. The Re-GZ Custom integrated the BWS into the mobile suit’s main body, and additional apogee motors improved the suit’s mobility in both forms. The Re-GZ Custom’s armaments included vulcan guns, a pair of 3-tube missile launchers, a beam assault rifle and a pair of hyper beam sabers that could also function as beam launchers. It was believed that the Re-GZ Custom was designed for Londo Bell ace Amuro Ray, who piloted the Re-GZ before switching to the new RX-93 v Gundam.
