Technical and Historical Notes

The creation of the G-Fighter allowed the RX-78-2 Gundam to be reconfigured for multiple combat scenarios. One such combination saw the Gundam docking with the rear module of the G-Fighter. This combination allowed the Gundam to take to the skies at high speeds. If necessary, the Gundam could separate from the B-Parts and resume ground combat.
