Super Robot Wars Original Generation 2 is a video game released for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance in 2005 in Japan and in 2006 in North America. Developed by Banpresoft and published by Banpresto in Japan and Atlus in North America, it is set in the Original Generation continuity of the Super Robot Wars strategy RPG franchise. This continuity focuses entirely on Banpresto original characters and mecha and does not feature any licensed anime. It is a sequel to the 2002 game Super Robot Wars Original Generation. The game’s story was adapted as the 2010 TV series Super Robot Wars Original Generation: The Inspector. The two Original Generation games were later remade in 2007 for the Sony PlayStation 2 under the title Super Robot Wars Original Generations.
