Advance of Zeta: The Traitor to Destiny is a novel and manga released exclusively in Japan from 2010-2011. Written by Junichi Kamino, the novel was serialized in Dengeki Hobby Magazine while the manga was published in Dengeki Daioh. It is a sequel to the photonovel/manga series Advance of Zeta: The Flag of Titans. Set in UC 0085, it also serves as a prequel to the 1985 TV series Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. The story focuses on Van Asiliano, who ends up in the crosshairs of the Titans following the Colony 30 Incident. The series was followed by two sequels, Blue Wings of the AEUG and Mace of Judgment.
