The VF-X was a non-variable fighter prototype manufactured by Stonewell and Bellcom for the U.N. forces. Rolled out in 2006, the VF-X underwent flight tests in February 2007, with Roy Focker serving as one of its test pilots. The VF-X’s flight tests were followed by the creation of the transforming VF-X-1 in November 2007, which the U.N. forces formally adopted as the VF-1A Valkyrie.
