Uso and Shahkti have rejoined the Camion transport, and he helps Marbet with the maintenance on the Core Fighter. Oliver tries to talk to Marbet, but she tells him to go away. He finally does leave and says he’ll talk to her later. Uso mentions that Oliver created the Shrike Team, and Marbet gets annoyed that he mentions that. Uso hears Romero mention Jinn Jahannam, and Romero explains that he is the leader of the League Militaire. Uso finds it odd that the League Militaire, which means “holy alliance,” is led by a guy who uses a name that means “demon from hell.” Jinn has ordered that the Camion transport rendezvous with him at point DD, which seems to be near Arti Gibraltar. At the Largaine base, Dupre has his men decode the League Militaire message, and they find out about point DD as well. Dupre launches with a squad of Zolos and Tomliats to intercept the Camion transport. He intends to take the credit himself and bring down Pippiniden. While Warren and Odelo play poker, Uso thinks about Katejina and wonders if the Zanscare will crack their message. Odelo tells him not to worry so much, and he goes off on his own with Haro to think. Haro creates a bubble and shows Uso old video of his parents Hangerg Evin and Myra Miggelle, and he thinks they only boss him around. He realizes the Zanscare will show themselves if they attack at point DD, and he decides to investigate. Shahkti asks to come along, and they both sneak into the Victory Gundam‘s cockpit. Uso waits until the coast is clear and launches with the Core and Bottom Fighters. Romero asks him what the hell he is doing, and he says he is going to investigate the enemy. As Uso and Shahkti fly over a field of flowers, Uso spots the enemy. The Tomliats and Zolos spot Uso and begin an attack run.
The Tomliats and Zolos surround Uso, and he realizes he can’t fight with Shahkti and Karlmann with him. Dupre flies by them and sees they are kids, which reminds him of his own son. He is shocked, and he tells his men not to shoot the Victory Gundam down, but to capture it. Shahkti tells Uso not to worry about her, and he tries to avoid the enemy. They surround him and try to force him to land. Three Setter H926 sub-flight systems carrying six Gun-EZ mobile suits appear. They begin to attack the enemy, and Uso realizes they are Oliver’s Shrike Team. Uso lands to let Shahkti and Karlmann off, and he gives Shahkti a flare gun. The Shrike Team begins destroying enemy suits by destroying their reactors, which sets off massive explosions. Uso takes off, and Oliver shows up with a Top and Core Fighter. He ejects the Top Fighter and gives it to Uso. Uso attacks a Tomliat, and when it tries to fire at his cockpit he is saved by one of the Shrike Team. Shahkti finds the Camion transport and collapses. Uso destroys a Tomliat’s beam rotor and jumps over it before destroying it and another Tomliat. He and the Shrike Team have destroyed nearly all the suits, and Dupre is shot down. After the battle, the Camion transport catches up to Uso and the Shrike Team. Uso meets the Shrike Team, which consists of six beautiful women: Junko Jenko, Cony Francis, Helen Jackson, Kite Bush, Mahalia Merrill and Peggie Lee. Marbet sees them and thinks that Oliver is some sort of pimp. The members of the Shrike congratulate Uso on a good job, and he says he won only because of their help. They are surprised such a young kid is the Victory Gundam’s pilot, and Oliver says he is very skilled. He then lectures Uso and tells him not to screw around and act on his own anymore. Uso agrees, and Oliver punches him in the face and knocks him down.
Well, this was an interesting episode. As seen before, it looks like BESPA officers care only about advancing their own careers rather than the cause. This episode doesn’t have Cronicle in it at all, but instead it has a lot of babes! I wonder why Tomino chose to make the Shrike Team a bunch of beautiful women. Marbet seems to be jealous and calls Oliver a pimp. Another revelation in this episode is the mysterious leader of the League Militaire, Jinn Jahannam. He wants the Camion transport to head to Arti Gibraltar, where Cronicle is also supposed to be heading. I can see a battle happening there in the next episodes. Also, it seems that like Kamille Bidan before him, Uso has become the slapping boy for angry adults. That’s the true Tomino touch.
