During the course of the Bloody Valentine War, many of ZAFT’s ace pilots customized their GINN units. A custom unit assigned to ace pilot Gud Vair sported a red color scheme, as well as a shield mounted on the right shoulder. Aside from the custom shield, Gud’s unit featured the same armaments as a standard GINN. Gud was mortally wounded in a battle against Serpent Tail mercenary Gai Murakumo.
