The ZGMF-2025/F GELGOOG Menace was a mobile suit fielded by the global peacekeeping agency Compass. ZAFT, one of the governments supporting Compass, developed the GELGOOG Menace as a successor to its earlier ZGMF-1000 ZAKU Warrior. Its B.O.L.E.L.O. backpack was designed to separate its functions into an A-type for atmospheric use and an S-type for space. The backpack’s components were standardized to boost efficiency and decrease production costs. Its armaments included an enhanced beam rifle, a beam halberd, short-range guided missile launchers, a beam shield and a linear cannon. The GELGOOG Menace units deployed by Compass included two standard types and a custom version for Lunamaria Hawke (painted in the same red colors as her earlier ZGMF-1000/A1 Gunner ZAKU Warrior). In C.E. 75, Compass was caught off guard by the sudden betrayal of the Kingdom of Foundation during a joint anti-Blue Cosmos operation. The GELGOOG Menace units piloted by Black Tri-Stars members Mars Simeon and Herbert Von Reinhardt proved inadequate against the advanced mobile suits of the Black Knight Squad, and both were killed in battle. Afterward, Lunamaria switched over to the ZGMF-56E2 Impulse Gundam Spec II, while her GELGOOG Menace was assigned to Black Tri-Star Hilda Harken to replace her damaged ZGMF-2027/A GYAN Strom. In the final battle against Foundation, Hilda’s GELGOOG Menace was equipped with a prototype advanced railgun.
