Introduced in 2292, the AEU-05/92 AEU Hellion Initium received two major upgrades throughout its service life, with the last one being the AEU-05/05 AEU Hellion Perpetuum in 2305. The Hellion series served as the Advanced European Union’s main mobile suit for over a decade and was widely produced and exported to other countries outside the AEU. As a result, Hellions were used by even private military companies and terrorists. Like the Union’s VMS-15 Union Realdo, the Hellion could switch between mobile suit mode and flight mode by swapping parts. The Hellion’s mobile suit mode had exceptional mobility, as the main thrusters’ thrust were concentrated on the upper body. The Hellion’s armaments included a linear rifle, defense rod, sonic sword and sonic blade. It could also mount missiles in the weapon bays on its legs. In 2307, the AEU unveiled the next generation successor to the aging Hellion: the AEU-09 AEU Enact.
