The Amon Doc was supposedly the final design that evolved from the NRX-055 Baund-Doc prototype. In essence, it was built by joining two Baund Doc units’ skirt armor and adding two large claw arms in the place of legs. The Amon Doc was supposedly created to deal with the Baund Doc’s two main faults – lack of formidable fixed weapons and extreme vulnerability in mobile armor mode. During its one battle, the Amon Doc allowed its pilot to communicate with the dead – a feature that was never observed in other Newtype-use mobile suits, leading some to believe that, unlike the Baund Doc, it was equipped not with a psycommu system, but with a biosensor system, similar to the one installed in the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam. Despite the great advantage the system granted in battle, the Amon Doc was destroyed while being transported from a Titans base on the Moon. Its wreckage, however, was never discovered, suggesting, along with its unorthodox design, that it may be a fictional mobile armor made up for the Diary of Edmund Edgar Smith, along with the Half Gundam and Half Zeta Gundam.
