The ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos (2nd Form) represented a minor upgrade over the 1st Form used by CGS and later Tekkadan. When it was discovered in the Martian desert, the 1st Form lacked shoulder armor, which was replaced in the 2nd Form with armor from an EB-06 Graze Standard Type that pilot Mikazuki Augus defeated in battle. The 2nd Form’s armaments were also enhanced with a new 300mm smoothbore gun, which also featured a built-in 60mm machine gun. Further combat led to the upgrades of the 3rd Form.
