When the Gilgamesh Confederation unveiled the revolutionary ATM-09-ST Scopedog in Astragius Year 7198, the Balarant Union took note and began developing its own mid-class armored trooper. Two years later, the Balarant introduced their own model, the B-ATM-01 Blocker. However, the Blocker proved inferior to the AT types fielded by the Gilgamesh. Although several variants were produced, the Blocker was eventually replaced by the B-ATM-03 Fatty as the Balarant’s main mass production model.
