Following an unsuccessful first attempt with the B-ATM-01 Blocker, the Balarant Union rolled out the B-ATM-03 Fatty to combat the Gilgamesh Federation’s ATM-09-ST Scopedog. Although the Fatty still did not equal the Scopedog, it was produced in greater numbers and emphasized quantity over quality. Unlike the Scopedog’s gliding wheels, the Fatty moved through the use of several hover jets. The Fatty’s main armaments included a nozzle burner and magic hand, but it also commonly carried a catapult launcher. Throughout the course of the war, the Balarant created several variants of the base Fatty design.
