The CMS-574E Elmeda was the personal mobile suit of Ract Elfamel, leader of the Euba Alliance. The Elmeda was based on the Euba’s standard CMS-574X Xeno, although its armaments differed. The Elmeda’s original armaments included a heat sword and hand-carried shield. Ract used the Elmeda as part of the petty feud between the Euba and Zalam Union on the space colony Fardain. The situation changed in AG 115 when the Vagans (aka Unknown Enemy) attacked Fardain. The Euba and Zalam agreed to end their conflict and joined an alliance with the Earth Federation Forces battleship Diva to fight the Vagans. However, the Elmeda’s outdated armaments were no match for the Vagans, until it was re-equipped with a DODS gun and beam saber designed by the AGE System. With these new armaments, the Elmeda was able to fight more evenly against Vagan mobile suits.
