Mobile Suit Gundam AGE

Mobile Suit Gundam AGE is a TV series that aired exclusively in Japan from 2011-2012. This alternate universe series was directed by Susumu Yamaguchi with mechanical designs by Kanetake Ebikawa, Kenji Teraoka and Junya Ishigaki, character designs by Takuzo Nagano and Michinori Chiba and a score by Kei Yoshikawa. In a change from previous productions, Gundam AGE was developed out of a video game pitch for the Sony PlayStation Portable by game studio Level 5. As a result, the series’ composition was crafted by Level 5 President Akihiro Hino. Set in AG (Advanced Generation), the story focuses on three generations of the Asuno family, who all play major roles in a nearly century-long war between the Earth Federation and the mysterious Unknown Enemy. The TV series was followed in 2013 by the compilation OVA Memory of Eden, which examines later events from the perspective of second generation lead Asemu Asuno and his rival, Zeheart Galette. The series is available on home video in North America from Nozomi Entertainment.
