The ovw-cc Gomel was a transformable mobile suit designed for ground combat on Earth’s deserts. The Gomel was armed with a chest-mounted beam cannon along with a pair of missile launchers and Shiguru claws. During the Vagan invasion of Earth in AG 164, a group of pilots earned the nickname Phantom 3 for their ability to take down multiple Earth Federation Forces mobile suit teams. Thanks to its transformable design, the Gomel was able to move through sand at high speed as though it were water. The Gomels proved to be a match for the AGE-3 Gundam AGE-3 Normal, but the tables were turned when the AGE System designed the AGE-3F Gundam AGE-3 Fortress in response. The Gomel’s frame was used again in a similar design, the amphibious ovw-dc Wrozzo.
