When the Vagan invasion of Earth began in AG 164, one of the main units serving in the invasion force was the ovm-lce Reganner. The Reganner was an upgraded version of the xvm-gz Defurse, a mobile suit deployed 49 years earlier at the War of Bat Extermination. The Reganner corrected issues found in the Defurse, and though its armaments were mostly the same, it added a new pair of beam cannons. As the last stages of the war moved away from Earth, the Reganner also saw use in space.
