Mobile Suit Gundam F91 Prequel is a manga series released exclusively in Japan starting in 2020. As its name suggests, it is a prequel to the 1991 anime film Mobile Suit Gundam F91. Written and illustrated by Junji Ohno, it was serialized in Gundam Ace magazine. The story focuses on events leading up to film, including the development of the Gundam F91 and the secret military buildup by the Crossbone Vanguard. The manga features most of the cast from the film.
