In UC 0087, Anaheim Electronics developed the MSF-007 Gundam Mk-III for the AEUG, based on data from the captured Titans RX-178 Gundam Mk-II. Anaheim also created a full armor version of the Mk-III, dubbed the FA-007GIII Full Armor Gundam Mk-III. The full armor version mounted armor panels across the unit’s body and ditched the original’s shield. The FA-007GIII had higher thruster output to compensate for the added weight of the full armor parts. It also featured improved reactor output to power the suit’s beam weapons, which included leg-mounted hyper beam cannons, shoulder-mounted beam cannons and a pair of shield beam cannons. The suit was also armed with a beam rifle, a pair of beam sabers and two grenade launchers.
